The Dataiku Academy provides on-demand and bite-sized training that enables all user profiles, from beginners to experts, to grow their knowledge of Dataiku DSS  at their own pace, and according to their own schedule.

Moreover, if the users are interested in a guided course of study, the Dataiku Academy Learning Paths provide a curriculum to follow and assessments that lead to certificates of achievement!

"How to" Questions

If you are stuck on how to do something specific, not a technical issue, use one of the following resources:

  • Search DSS
    • The search box on the top right of the UI does a global search across your instance and Dataiku's documentation (v6.0+).
  • Google it!
    • Google is your friend, search “dataiku 'your query'” and you will be guided to relevant content.
  • Reference Documentation 
    • The reference documentation is completely open. Use the index or the search box to find topics.
  • Internal Community 
    • Ask your peers if they know the answer. Some issues are specific to your installation and often you are not the first to encounter them.
  • Dataiku Community
    • Search discussions and knowledge base articles or post your own questions. It is a public site, so don't post any specific information from your deployment. Other users and Dataikers answer on a best effort basis.
  • Chat with Dataiku
    • On the bottom right corner of the DSS user interface or our website, there is a button that opens a chat box. The Dataiku team typically answers within 20 minutes.

Support

If you are facing a technical issue, solve it with the following escalation path:

  • Internal Community
    • Start by asking your peers if they are facing the same issue. Most issues are specific to your installation and you will get the quickest answer.
  • External Resources
  • Your DSS admin 
    • If you did not find the answer, raise the issue with your DSS administrator.
  • Raise a ticket with Dataiku Support
    • If your administrator cannot solve it, raise it with Dataiku’s support team following the guidelines on this page.
  • Dataiku R&D
    • Our R&D team will either fix it or provide feedback on the issue.
